November 2021

Happy Thanksgiving! Sarah and I are fixing to leave Robbinsville and travel to my family in Shelby and Kings Mountain, then spend a few days with Sarah's parents in Pilot Mountain. This is one of our favorite holidays and we are excited for the time with family.

November has been a busy month! We celebrated my 26th birthday, then we were able to move to an apartment on ETM's campus! We are thankful to be on-site and with our team. The apartment we are in at ETM is built for hosting, and we have enjoyed having our life group here as well as welcoming the youth group. The life group continues to progress, with relationships growing stronger by the week.

I also was given two different speaking opportunities at churches. On the 14th, I was given the opportunity to speak at a church plant in Cherokee, NC, called Peaks Church. It was a blessing to see what God is doing through that ministry and to meet/worship with the body of Christ there.

The next Sunday, I spoke at Robbinsville First Baptist on Hebrews 13:7-17. You can listen to it here if you like. This sermon was one of the most fun preparation times I have had as I was able to study what I like to call the Bible's Braveheart speech (I explain that reference in the sermon).

Sarah is continuing her ministry role here as well, helping with ETM, meeting with ladies in our church, helping with the children during other Bible studies, and ensuring that our home is a hospitable one ready to welcome people in whenever the opportunity comes up.

Thanksgiving is a great time to stop and reflect on what God has done for us this year, and to praise Him for who He is regardless of our circumstances. By doing so, we can offer the praise of our lips as a continual sacrifice to Him (Hebrews 13:15). Sarah and I hope that this Thanksgiving break is a restful time for you and your family, and that you would be able to carve out some time to praise our Father for how He has provided this year, as well as just for Who He is apart from our circumstances.

If there are ways we can pray for you, please reach out to us. And if you would like to financially partner with us through Eternal Truth Ministries, you can find out how to do so back on our home page. Thank you for your support! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
