Happy spring! Sarah and I love this time of year and the new life it brings. For our family, March and April are always a time of celebration, with multiple birthdays in our families spread out over these two months. On March 31st we had the joy of celebrating Jane's first birthday(!) along with Resurrection Day. You can check out Robbinsville First Baptist Church's Easter message, preached by Ben Thacker, here.
Also in March, shortly after returning from Albania, I began a Models group with six Albanian pastors/church leaders. These models are in English, and the goal is to equip these leaders with an Albanian translation of the models so they can begin training disciples in their local ministries. As of now, we are six sessions in.
Just a week after Jane's birthday, we got to celebrate Sarah's birthday as well. In April, we also finished a Models for Disciple-Makers group with several couples at Robbinsville First Baptist Church. We have been grateful for the chance to connect with these couples in person. Sharing meals togehter strengthens relationships and significantly aids disciple-making.
Later in April, Eternal Truth Ministries was able to host two of our Albanian friends I met in February - Alesio and his wife Juliana. The time was an encouragement, and we were able to hear about their ministry in Tirana through Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Our work at Robbinsville First Baptist continues as well, with leading the youth group, meeting with teens individually, planning our annual retreat, and building relationships with our volunteer leaders as well.
