It has been a while since our last update, and WOW have things changed! Throughout March, we were preparing for Baby Jane to make her arrival, and on March 31st, we welcomed baby Jane Kathryn Ramsey into the world. The delivery went smooth and both mama and baby made it through healthy.
It has been a whirlwind ever since, with lots of learing about what this new role looks like for both of us as first time parents. Jane means "The Lord is gracious," and we have certainly felt that grace showered on us time and again through blessings of health, as well as through our families, church communities and friends. We could not thank you enough for your prayers, support, encouragement, advice, and the love you've shown us and our daughter. We are excited to learn more about the Father as we wade into parenthood.
While Sarah and I took some time away from our weekly responsiblities in ministry, the ministry needs did not stop. Over the past few weeks we have seen many of our close friends go through trying spiritual attacks. It has been a fresh reminder that we are in a spiritual battle that never stops, and we must always be alert.
With spring, my work on ETM's grounds increases, as the forest is always trying to reclaim what we have cleared and built. Robbinsville First Baptist continues their study on wisdom, and this Sunday I will speak on how Godly wisdom can prepare women to be help mates. The youth group remains a blessing to work with, and we have seen our volunteer leaders step up in our absence while Jane was born. Please pray for wisdom for us as we seek to continue discipling these teens.
We hope this spring will bring you fresh reminders of God's graciousness in your life as well, and that the newness of life all around will remind you of the new life Christ has given to each of us. Thank you for your support as we continue this ministry of partnering with local churches to make disciples of Jesus.
